Circle K Minutes Tuesday, March 31, 2009 I) Call to order II) Pledge of Allegiance III) Circle K Pledge IV) Happy Can V) Approval of Minutes ☺ VI) Treasury Report-$1,519.78 VII) Service Chairs Report A) Penny Wars-it is finalized and they are just talking to the hall directors to set it up now VIII) Old Business A) Interclubs 1) Bettendorf-Tuesdays at 12 at the Lodge (week notice) 2) Davenport-Thursdays at 12 at the Outing Club (across the street from campus) 3) Davenport Northside-Thursdays at 7AM at the Clarion Hotel 4) Rock Island-Mondays at 12 at the Botanical Center in Rock Island B) Rent-a-Student-both were rescheduled C) Alternatives for the Older Adult: Tea for Two-we did a good job and got complimented! D) Red Cross- probably will do this next year instead E) Truman Elementary Family Fun Night 1) Friday, April 3, 5-8:15PM 2) Meet in front of Rogalski Center at 4:45PM 3) Will work games for this for the kids F) NAMI Walk 1) Saturday, May 2, 10AM 2) Be there at 9:30AM 3) Sign up online: www.nami.org under Team Kiwanis G) North High School Dance-A-Thon H) ICON 1) If interested, let one of the board members know 2) We have the money needed for it IX) New Business A) Rent-a-Student B) Lieutenant Governor Position-does anyone want the position? (ask Melissa Johansen, Augustana’s Prez, about it)-there are now 4 clubs in our division instead of 2!
